This is a great chance for a sales leader who wants to mold a department in their vision. We are looking for someone who has developed or helped develop a sales process and built up a department in the past as we are largely starting from scratch.
We need someone to come in and formalize these processes, grow and mentor a strong sales team that we expect will grow to 5-10+ strong over the coming years(More if you help us grow it exponentially!).
- Grow and oversee a burgeoning sales department.
- Create, forecast on a weekly and monthly cadence sales quotas.
- Continuously recruit, train, coach and develop a accounts/sales team, developing a strong sales process/prospecting/lead qualification/scripts to close their opportunities to meet revenue goals.
- Collaborate with product on sales/marketing technology initiatives that increase sales and drive revenue.
- Work with Marketing to ensure consistent lead generation and tactical downward funnel movement.
- Work with business development team to ensure strategic leads are channeled appropriately.
- Work with leadership to generate ideas for sales contests and motivational initiatives.
- Lead and schedule weekly and/or monthly team meetings with sales team and leadership.
- Track sales team metrics and report data to leadership on a regular basis.
- Embody company culture and maintain high sales employee engagement.
- Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales applications.
- High level of respect and empathy for clients/customers of all sizes
- 3-10+ years of Sales experience
- 2-7 year of Sales management experience
- Experience in SMB SaaS/software/startups/tech with high volume inbound, or other relevant sales experience.
- Experience managing higher volume outbound and inbound sales teams and oversight of 100’s of leads/opportunities
- Formerly built out or had a major impact on sales process and incentivization structure
- Experience organizing and optimizing a sales team with different roles(i.e. How many sales development representatives vs accounts people)
- KPI obsessed
- Music Business/tech interest
- Experience configuring Hubspot(ideally) and or other MPAAS CRM’s for Sales
- Experience building and running persona based webinars
