Top Songwriter Chart: August 2012
31 Aug
Dr Luke and co-writer Henry Walter are again of the pops – they were #1 in our July chart – with mega-hits for Katy Perry and Rihanna. Fellow super-producer Max Martin rose two positions from July, thanks to co-writes on Katy Perry’s Wide Awake and Usher’s Scream. An honorable mention goes to prolific songwriter Savan Kotecha, who features on four Top 10 hits.
Our Top Songwriter Chart highlights the amazing versatility and creativity of the minds behind the music. To find out more about how we calculate this chart using Billboard Radio Songs and Digital Songs data, check out the full methodology.
