What or who inspired you to get into music?

I remember when I was a kid there was a TV show in Mexico that was every Sunday presenting the new music stars, and I always dreamed of being there and being able to do the same -- sing, create music, and have the world listen to me. I remember that inspired me a lot to create music.

How would you describe your style of music and performance? How would you describe your philosophy and style as an artist?

I would describe my music as Disco Chic, and it is a fusion between electronic sounds with Pop and Disco tones making it extremely pleasing to the ear for any occasion. My philosophy as an artist would be to do what your instinct tells you to do, and the best style is to be myself. I don't like to create characters that later are very difficult to maintain.

What drives you to create, and how do you define success for yourself in music?

I'm inspired by the music itself, when I listen to other artists' or composers' songs I always say “wow I wish I could create something like that”, then I go into the studio and start writing inspired by that song or production that has blown my mind.

In my own opinion, I would define musical success with a loyal fan base, which are those who support your music, listen to it constantly, and share you on their networks, from there everything else comes on its own.

What have you learned from your time in the music industry, and do you wish you had done anything differently?

I have learned that to be successful you need to have a good music base and then a lot of marketing work. Maybe I should have taken a marketing course to have applied it from the first day I launched my music through digital platforms.

Have you ever written a song that no one else believed in? How did you deal with that?

It's always pretty hard to show your music to your friends and family, they always have different opinions and not everyone likes it, but it's good to hear all kinds of reactions. I've always believed in what I do and I always have faith in every project, and they've worked out very well.

How can individuals help the LGBTQIA+ community succeed in the music industry?

Just by listening to our musical proposal and sharing it on your social media, that's the best publicity there is today.

What advice do you have for up-and-coming LGBTQIA+ artists?

Never try to hide who you are, always listen to your instinct, always believe in your project, fight for it no matter how many times you are said "no" to, and never let anyone or anything try to change your true self.

What's next for you? Any upcoming projects or plans for 2021?

To keep creating music, to keep preparing myself in singing, composition and to keep reaching more people thanks to my music.
